The world is in chaos, nations are in chaos and families are in chaos. It’s no secret that politicians, doctors and counselors have been powerless to help, primarily because they can’t. But Jesus can. His specialty is turning broken hearts and broken dreams into beauty and restored hope. 

No, He is not the author of some silly, pie in the sky philosophy that is useless in the real world. But He is the author of hope, joy, peace and forgiveness in everyday life. Genuine life. Daily life. Jesus leads us to truth, shares with us the wisdom of the ages and He literally buys lost souls with His own blood. 

When a someone, anyone, regardless of his or her station in life, comes to Jesus, He restores the heart and rebuilds the spirit. He brings salvation, freedom from sin and guilt and joy that surpasses comprehension. 

 Modern culture has lied to us. Jesus is real. The world’s answers don’t work and never have. Jesus’ answers have created community, peace, hope and joy for over 2,000 years, and they still work. Problem marriage? Jesus has the answers. Problem kids? Jesus has the answers. Problems at work? Jesus has the answers. Problems with crime? You guessed it… Jesus has the answers! 

While modern culture debates endless details and rejects Jesus, His followers wade through the waters of life laughing with their families and building up one another in practical, loving ways on a daily basis. Finding His joy for your  life and family means reading His book, accepting His answers and following His loving, leading footsteps.

The most wonderful news of all is that Jesus loves you, personally (yes, YOU!) more than you can ever imagine! His death on the cross for your sins (yes yours, personally) proves His deep love for you. His resurrection from the dead shows His plan for your life. And His work today is preparing a place for you to spend eternity with Him (John 14:1-6).

What if church weren’t about entertainment?
What if it weren’t about my self-esteem?
What if it weren’t about pleasing me?
What if it weren’t about pleasing my kids?
What if it weren’t about pleasing the community?
What it weren’t about me at all?
 
What if church were about learning His word?
What if church were about becoming like Jesus?
What if church were about walking in His steps?
What if church were about learning to love one 
            another as He has loved us?
What if church were about learning God’s plan 
            for happy families? 
What if church were about learning God’s plan 
            for a joyous marriage?
What if church were about pleasing God and not self?
What if church were about a precious, close loving 
            family of God, on their way to heaven?
